After stretching the check-out time at Lewis & Clark Caverns to the limit of 1pm, I made the 102 mile drive south into Idaho. My destination - Henry's Lake State Park.
Henry's Lake is a beautiful location and only a 20 minute drive to the west entrance of Yellowstone. The cost for a week was $246 for a water and electric site. I'm in #60 on the Caddis loop which is in a newer section of the park and in my opinion far superior to the older sites - unless you can get site #31. That's a great site with the lake right out your front door. #60 has a pretty decent AT&T and Verizon signal, a good amount of space from the neighbors, and a stunning view of the lake and mountains from the back window. I'm happy with it.
